SILUETA is an S-metolachlor-based herbicide that belongs to the chemical group of chloroacetanilides. S-Metolachlor is considered to be one of the active substances with the longest residual activity in the soil. It is absorbed mainly by hypocotyls and plant shoots (seedlings). It works by inhibiting cell division and interfering with cell growth.
